Music on Main

We went to Music on Main on Fridays this summer.  We had a great time hanging out, listening to music, and chatting with friends.  Denison won a grant from a Music non profit so they were able to hire much better bands this year.  It included Ray Wylie Hubbard, Cody Canada, Brothers Osborne, and Darryl Dodd.  They were all great (or so I heard).  Cody sat and chatted with the men and they listened to the bands.  The moms talked, watched the kids play, got food, and relaxed.  It was such a fun thing to do!  It was outside so they kids just played all night.  And we all just had a beer and did nothing difficult.  We were always the first family to leave because Paige goes to bed so early, but it was totally worth it.  Most of the time, we sat with the Spiegel's, Haddock's, Helm's, and Smith's.  One night, they made everyone get up and take a picture at the front like we were all just happily standing there jamming out on our own accord.  Pretty hysterical.  Harper loved it and always asked when the next concert was.  I'm so glad we had this to do this summer and I hope it's back next summer.
