Kristen's maternity leave was almost over and we wanted to spend just a little more time with her. We headed down the first week of school to do a few errands, some shopping, and hang out with Kristen and Ellie. We met her at the mall and after lunch, Kristen let Harper ride the carousel. She loves getting spoiled because I am not that type. It's good she has Aunt Krissy! We headed back to the house for nap time. Paige and Ellie went to sleep while the big girls chatted. Harper loves when she has all the attention and doesn't have to share toys. Kristen was actually pretty busy because they were going to Vegas the next day for a quick couples weekend away. But we still had fun and got to spend the day together. Ellie is getting so big! She is 10 weeks old and she is finally starting to have just a little bit of awake time. She is always sleeping! She is still pretty small. She is in 3 month clothes but she has a long way to go. She is just long and skinny without hardly any fat. Except for her double chin - that's it! She is very different from Paige. We were so glad to just get to hold her and love on her before she started school. It was a good day!
