We love the Denison Christmas Parade. It's fun and simple and you get to see tons of people. Last year it was at the end of the ice storm, so there weren't many people. This year, it was not too cold, so by the time we got there, the entire street was full and there was nowhere to park. We ended up walking around and met up with Buddy, Robert and Kita, and the Spiegel's. We sat with them and watched the parade. Harper got to see horses, floats with all Christmas persona, and even a Frozen float. She was supposed to walk in the parade with her dance class, but I didn't feel like walking 5 mi and pulling her in the wagon. So we sat and watched and clapped big when her class went by. At the very end, Santa comes by on the fire truck. This year, she was SO excited to see Santa. She stood up and waved big at him and he, of course, waved back. Then, he shouted down, "My, you look big this year, girls." (talking to Harper, Julianne, and Tessa). Harper was so thrilled that he talked to her and she couldn't stop smiling. It was awesome. We had a great time and it was nice to start the Christmas season off this way.
