Earth Day this year was a beautiful, sunny day with tons of mud from the past days' rain. We had a play date at the park to play and plant seeds. We all decided that mud didn't matter, so Harper put on her rain boots and we headed out. This park is old and has great metal play equipment. Of course all the girls wanted to ride on the carousel and they were so cute switching between the different animals. After the kids played for awhile, they each got to plant a seed in a small cup made from a toilet paper roll. It was cute to see them all so interested and excited. Thankfully Harper forgot about it though because it spilled in the car on the way home and didn't survive. It was still a great day and she had a blast!
